Jackson's Cabin

Jackson’s Cabin is a special self-catering haven. It is an ideal hideaway for couples, but a family of 2 adults and 2 children can be accommodated comfortably, sharing a large open plan room full of character and colour.
The beautifully fitted and handcrafted cabin incorporates a double bed, sofa/bunk bed, and shower room.

 

A wood burner keeps the living area warm and cosy with steps down to the fully fitted kitchen-dining area. It is nestled into the corner of its own orchard garden, looking out onto a small pond, lawn and decking with barbecue area.

 

The unique hand-made wooden playhouse, known as Pretzel’s Playhouse, is a perfect hideaway for children to enjoy and explore their imagination in.  Snuggled in another corner the hot tub is perfect for that long awaited soak to relax and clear the stresses under the apple tree.

The facilities of The Brake, including the Workshops, the Sauna, the Hot tub, the Bakehouse and the Art Studio are all available with prior arrangement. The sea is within 3 miles for cliff walks and lazy days on the beach. Dartmoor is a half hour drive away where long walks are enjoyed with the breath-taking views across Devon. The towns of Totnes, Dartmouth and Kingsbridge are on our doorstep offering all manner of historic sites and quirky cafes.
